If you would like to let the community know of a Silent Key Station, please send us a message with the Call Sign and a copy of the obituary and we will ensure the station is announced to the community.


In Memoriam: Richie "M3ONK" Bray

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richie Bray, amateur radio operator known by his call sign M3ONK, who left us in the early hours of Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Richie was a passionate member of the amateur radio community, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with fellow operators and friends. His warm personality and dedication to connecting people will be sorely missed.

His friends will cherish his memory and the joy he brought into their lives. Richie's spirit will live on in the countless conversations he inspired and the friendships he fostered.

Rest in peace, M3ONK. You will always be in our hearts.

Silent Key: David Craig, VE6DKC

It is with deep respect and sorrow that we announce the passing of David Craig, amateur radio operator VE6DKC. David was a dedicated member of the Quarter Century Wireless Association (QCWA) Chapter 151 and a valued contributor to the amateur radio community.

David's call sign, VE6DKC, was known to many across Alberta and beyond. His involvement in various amateur radio activities, including contests and local club events, left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of working with him.

As we remember David, we honor his contributions to the amateur radio community and extend our condolences to his family and friends. His presence will be missed, but his legacy will continue to resonate in the signals he once sent.
